Job Title: Healthcare Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Apollo Home Healthcare. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users, enabling them to live safely and independently in their own homes.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal care, social support, and domestic assistance to our service users, while adhering to their individual care and support plans. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure that our service users receive the best possible care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assisting with medication administration and clinical care
  • Supporting with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and household chores
  • Encouraging social interaction and engagement with our service users
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any changes or concerns to the team
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3 months previous experience in supporting children in a healthcare setting
  • Personal care skills, including moving and handling
  • Medication administration and clinical care experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
