The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination and administration of the V&A/RCA History of Design Programme (MA & PhD), the V&A's Collaborative Doctoral Partnerships award, and the V&A's Doctoral Placements scheme. This will involve working closely with the V&A's academic faculty, wider VARI team, and external academic partners to enhance the V&A student experience and ensure students are fully embedded within the V&A community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day programme expenditure
- Liaise with a wide range of individuals and groups across the Museum, including Collections, Conservation, Finance, Technology, and Security
- Support the continued development and evolution of MA and PhD programmes
- Work closely with counterparts in academic institutions in areas such as timetabling and administration of relevant committees
- Understand and comply with relevant funding regulations
Requirements:
- Considerable organisational, administrative, financial, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
