Join RWE AG as a Senior Process Engineer and Contribute to the Development of Innovative Carbon Capture Solutions

About the Role:

  • Support the development of major national and international projects in Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) as a key member of our process engineering team.
  • Advance projects in the CCUS field by leveraging expertise in process engineering and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Prepare comprehensive feasibility studies for research and development projects, analyzing technical and economic viability.
  • Manage contractors effectively, ensuring scope, budget, and deadlines are met for projects.
  • Develop detailed specifications for plants and systems, driving efficiency and innovation.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of existing plants and develop effective solutions for CCS retrofitting, minimizing environmental impact.
  • Lead concept development, design planning, and procurement of plants and systems, ensuring seamless project execution.

About You:

  • Hold a university degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, or a related field.
  • Bring a minimum of five years of professional experience in operations or challenging projects, with a strong track record of delivering results.
  • Have experience in tendering and processing power plant components, with a deep understanding of the industry.
  • Possess strong communication skills and business fluency in English, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in CCUS and knowledge of water treatment, flue gas cleaning, and other related areas.
  • Proficiency in German or Dutch language skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Be willing to travel domestically and internationally, with a flexible approach to work assignments.
