Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Process Engineer with expertise in process engineering, particularly in the field of Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS). The successful candidate will support our major national and international projects, advancing projects in the CCUS field, preparing feasibility studies, managing contractors, and developing specifications for plants and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advance projects in the CCUS field with expertise in process engineering, particularly in the UK, the Netherlands, and Germany.
  • Prepare feasibility studies for research and development projects.
  • Manage contractors in terms of scope, budget, and deadlines.
  • Develop specifications for plants and systems and carry out due diligence.
  • Inspect existing plants, including solution development for CCS retrofitting.
  • Concept development, design planning, and procurement of plants and systems in the field of CCS.

Requirements

  • University degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, energy technology, chemical engineering, or similar.
  • At least five years of professional experience in operations, maintenance, challenging projects with plant manufacturers or in the power generation sector.
  • Experience in tendering and processing power plant components.
  • Experience in project management and order management.
  • Strong communication skills, persuasiveness, and drive.
  • Business fluent in English.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience in the field of CCUS.
  • Knowledge of water treatment, flue gas cleaning, hydrogen, and Power2X.
  • German or Dutch language skills.
  • Willingness to travel at home and abroad.
