Job Summary

Guidant Global is seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer - Capital Projects Specialist to lead the delivery of complex capital projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process engineering, with experience in managing capital projects from front-end design to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the engineering and procurement aspects of capital projects, ensuring that key stakeholders are consulted at each stage of the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with operations, process, technical, and safety specialists to complete user requirement specifications, CAPEX requests, hazard study documentation, and risk assessments.
  • Leverage outside partners and suppliers to develop solutions and design equipment, including vendor bid analysis.
  • Manage the safe installation of equipment on site, supervising and managing on-site contractors.
  • Support trouble-shooting during installation and start-up, ensuring a smooth handover to operations.

Requirements
  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Proven experience in delivering capital projects.
  • Familiarity with hazard studies and risk assessments.
  • Competence with CAD and Microsoft Project is desired but not essential.
  • Experience with automation of fabrication and converting equipment is desired but not essential.
