About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team at RWE Technology International GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our major national and international projects in the field of Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS).

Key Responsibilities

  • Advance projects in the CCUS field with expertise in process engineering, particularly in the UK, the Netherlands, and Germany.
  • Prepare feasibility studies for research and development projects.
  • Manage contractors in terms of scope, budget, and deadlines.
  • Develop specifications for plants and systems and carry out due diligence.
  • Inspect existing plants and develop solutions for CCS retrofitting.
  • Concept development, design planning, and procurement of plants and systems in the field of CCS.

Requirements

  • University degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, energy technology, chemical engineering, or similar.
  • At least five years of professional experience in operations, maintenance, challenging projects with plant manufacturers or in the power generation sector.
  • Experience in tendering and processing power plant components.
  • Experience in project management and order management.
  • Strong communication skills, persuasiveness, and drive.
  • Business fluent in English.

Advantageous Qualifications

  • Experience in the field of CCUS.
  • Knowledge of water treatment, flue gas cleaning, hydrogen, and Power2X.
  • German or Dutch language skills.
  • Willingness to travel at home and abroad.
