We are seeking a driven and experienced Regional Sales Executive with a solid background in selling to subcontractors, main contractors, and developers.

As a prominent national distributor of doorsets, our client is focused on expanding their market presence and is looking for a motivated individual to join their team in the Northern Region.

In this role, you will be offered a competitive starting salary of up to £42,000, with potential for higher earnings based on experience, along with a performance-related bonus, a company vehicle, pension contributions, and significant opportunities for career advancement.


Key Responsibilities:


The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing revenue and EBITDA by executing the sales strategy for the sector. This includes identifying and maximizing opportunities to boost customer loyalty, market share, and profit margins.

Effective communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a self-motivated approach are essential. Candidates should possess proven experience in the merchant sector, strong sales capabilities, and an awareness of margin dynamics.


Due to the nature of the position, a valid driving license is required, and the candidate must be willing to travel as necessary.


Main Duties:
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the sector plan and long-term strategy through market insights and customer behavior analysis.
  • Collaborate closely with Commercial and Regional Directors to ensure that growth initiatives are successfully implemented.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to promote the company's vision and objectives consistently.
  • Provide leadership to team members, ensuring alignment of activities with desired outcomes.
  • Monitor performance metrics and utilize appropriate processes and technologies, such as CRM systems.
  • Achieve assigned targets for profitable sales volumes and strategic goals within designated accounts.
  • Continuously assess and clarify customer needs.
  • Develop new and nurture existing customer relationships within the target sector.
  • Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned accounts.
  • Create strategic account plans for key customers.
  • Coordinate with accounts and branches to manage ongoing customer relationships.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction levels in accordance with company standards.
  • Provide regular performance reports and updates as required.
  • Stay informed about changes in regulations, market trends, products, and company news.
  • Implement effective changes to adapt to evolving business demands.
  • Address operational and strategic challenges effectively.
  • Demonstrate results-driven performance.
  • Think creatively to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Exhibit excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Showcase value-added solutions to customers.
  • Maintain a keen attention to detail.
  • Possess a strong understanding of relevant software applications (e.g., CRM tools).

Candidate Profile:
Experience in a senior sales role, business development, or account management is essential. A proven track record of sales success with either sector or national customers is required. Strong experience in a matrix management environment is preferred.


In return for the right candidate, an attractive compensation package is available, including a base salary of up to £42,000, plus bonuses and a company vehicle.
