Theatre Scrub Nurse
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Theatre Scrub Nurse to join our team at Ashtead Hospital in Surrey. As a key member of our Theatre department, you will play a vital role in supporting our surgeons and anaesthetists in delivering high-quality patient care.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and flexible individual to join our team. As a Theatre Scrub Nurse, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining the operating theatre environment, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are available and in good working order. You will also be required to assist the surgical team during procedures, providing support and care to patients as needed.
Requirements
- NMC registration with no restrictions or conditions
- Surgical scrub experience in various specialities
- Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) would be desirable, but not essential
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
- Flexible and positive attitude
- A warm, considerate and empathetic character
