About the Role
Ramsay Health Care Clinical is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Theatre Scrub Nurse to join our team at Ashtead Hospital. As a key member of our theatre department, you will play a vital role in supporting our surgeons and anaesthetists in delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating theatre environment, ensuring a safe and efficient working space for surgical teams.
- Provide expert scrub nursing skills, supporting surgeons and anaesthetists during complex surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care, from pre-operative preparation to post-operative recovery.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest surgical techniques and best practices.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of theatre policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- NMC registration with no restrictions or conditions.
- Proven experience in surgical scrub nursing, with a strong understanding of theatre protocols and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to work varied shifts and respond to changing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments in high-pressure situations.
