About the Role

Huntress is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Philanthropy Research Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Major Gifts and Philanthropy team, you will play a pivotal role in identifying funding priorities and securing significant donations from major donors and corporates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective research strategies to identify potential donors and secure funding for major gifts and corporate partnerships.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including major donors, corporate partners, and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with the Major Gifts and Philanthropy team to develop and implement fundraising strategies and plans.
  • Provide high-quality research and analysis to inform fundraising decisions and support the development of compelling donor proposals and reports.
  • Work closely with the Research and Information Executive to ensure seamless execution of research and information management tasks.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in strategic philanthropy research and major gifts fundraising.
  • Strong understanding of prospect research methodologies and research resources.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence senior staff and stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate complex information into engaging donor communications and reports.
  • Experience in developing strategies in line with organisational priorities.
