**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Philanthropy Manager to lead our Philanthropy and Partnerships team. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive philanthropy strategy to drive growth and achieve ambitious targets.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Lead and manage the Philanthropy team, setting objectives and targets to deliver significant income growth and transformational gifts.
  • Develop and manage our Development Board, ensuring the delivery of high-quality events and stewardship activities to engage and inspire donors.
  • Grow the UK and International pipeline, working closely with the Prospect Researcher to identify and research new prospective funders and develop advanced strategies to increase major gifts from wealthy prospects.
  • Set, monitor, and review philanthropy income and expenditure budgets, as well as creating the team's annual and five-year plans in collaboration with the Head of Partnerships and Philanthropy.

**What You'll Need**

  • Proven track record of success in philanthropy, with a strong understanding of the sector and its trends.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with influential philanthropists and stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a ability to develop and implement comprehensive plans to achieve ambitious targets.
