We are seeking an experienced Philanthropy Manager to join our team at Charity People Ltd. As a key player in securing philanthropic gifts, you will be responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies to support our charity's mission.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals and charitable foundations to secure gifts for paediatric medical research and other areas of the charity's work.
- Design and implement effective fundraising initiatives and campaigns to meet fundraising targets.
- Work closely with the Senior Philanthropy Manager to develop and implement the charity's fundraising strategy.
- Provide excellent customer service and stewardship to donors, ensuring that their gifts are acknowledged and recognized.
- Contribute to the development of the charity's annual fundraising plan and budget.
- Proven experience of philanthropy fundraising or an equivalent field, with a track record of initiating new high-value relationships and managing long-term donor/client relationships.
- Strong verbal, interpersonal and written skills, with great attention to detail and an ability to digest complex programmes of research.
- Ability to understand philanthropy within the healthcare and/or a medical research setting.
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
