About the Role

Huntress is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Philanthropy Research Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Major Gifts and Philanthropy team, you will play a pivotal role in identifying funding priorities and securing significant donations from major donors and corporates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective research strategies to identify potential donors and secure funding for key projects.
  • Collaborate with senior staff to develop compelling donor proposals and reports that align with our organisational values.
  • Manage and oversee the development of donor communications and relationships, ensuring a strong and engaging approach.
  • Work closely with the Trusts and Foundations team to ensure alignment and coordination of fundraising efforts.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on philanthropy communications, ensuring a consistent and high-quality approach across the organisation.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in writing donor proposals and securing funds for significant donations from major donors and corporates.
  • Specialist prospect research skills and an understanding of the methodologies and research resources required to carry out research.
  • Clear and accurate written and verbal communication skills to influence senior staff.
  • Ability to translate complex information into engaging donor communications and reports.
  • Experience of developing strategies in line with organisational priorities.
