London, Greater London, United Kingdom Integral UK Full time

Integral UK is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Environments Engineer to join our team.

In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the smooth operation of critical infrastructure within prestigious facilities such as banking headquarters and data centers.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular audits (10% of completed work orders) to ensure consistently high quality standards are maintained.
  • Execute all responsibilities in accordance with the site-based MEP responsibilities matrix.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to critical alarms during your shift, ensuring swift resolution and escalation procedures are followed.
Personal Specification:

To excel in this position, you will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience working within critical environments like banking headquarters and data centers.
  • HV Authorised Person certification with proven expertise in HV systems.
  • An Electrical/Mechanical Engineering HNC or HND qualification, or a successfully completed apprenticeship in either field.
  • C&G Parts 1 & 2 qualifications, or equivalent, demonstrating your electrical competency.
  • 17th Edition IEE: Wiring and Installation certification (ability to attain the 18th Edition through additional training).
  • C&G 2391 test and inspection; BS 7671:2001 for inspection, testing, and certification.

Furthermore, you will demonstrate:

  • Strong communication skills, enabling effective interaction with colleagues at all levels.
  • The ability to lead, motivate, and guide a small team of engineers.
  • A proactive approach to achieving the highest operational standards.
  • Proficiency in IT and report writing.
  • The capacity to work under pressure while remaining calm, clear-thinking, and delivering required services to clients within given time constraints.

While all qualifications are highly valued, individuals who can demonstrate commitment and relevant experience but may not fully meet all technical requirements will be considered subject to the Operations Director's approval.

A willingness to participate in both on-site and off-site training for MEP assets is essential. This may involve overnight stays due to the nature of specialized training, such as HV Authorised Person Training.

Integral UK values a high level of initiative, drive for continuous improvement, a smart corporate appearance, and advanced communication skills with a thorough understanding of customer needs and expectations.

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to comprehend and act upon both verbal and written instructions, demonstrate enthusiasm, pro-activity, diligence, and alertness, and actively participate in relevant internal training programs. Integrity, honesty, and punctuality are also expected.

This job description provides a general overview of the role and is not intended to be exhaustive or exclusive. Integral UK may request additional tasks or responsibilities as needed.
