Role Purpose
To ensure the smooth and efficient operation of building systems within a critical environment setting, including data centers or financial institutions. This involves carrying out preventative maintenance, responding to reactive repairs, and adhering to strict safety protocols.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance on all building plant, equipment, and systems to meet and exceed client expectations and service level agreements.
- Respond promptly to Building Management System alarms and execute emergency repairs as needed.
- Ensure the implementation of appropriate controls within Permit to Work systems for all tasks.
- Maintain critical cooling water systems and domestic systems in compliance with L8 standards, updating logbooks accordingly.
- Guarantee the availability of necessary spares for both critical and non-critical plant maintenance.
- Meticulously record all maintenance activities through comprehensive task sheets, utilizing both hard copy and electronic formats as required. A high level of computer proficiency is essential, particularly in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, along with the ability to use Adobe/Nitro.
- Adhere to Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks to ensure safe working practices. Contribute to the development and refinement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs).
- Supervise engineering subcontractors, ensuring they comply with contractual obligations, Permit to Work procedures, and site operating processes.
- Cultivate strong working relationships with all Integral UK Ltd colleagues and clients.
