Role Purpose

To ensure the smooth and efficient operation of building systems within a critical environment setting. This involves carrying out planned preventative maintenance, responding to reactive works, and addressing site engineering emergencies.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Execute routine maintenance on all building plant, equipment, and systems to meet or exceed client expectations and agreed service level agreements.
  • Respond promptly to Building Management System alarms and execute necessary emergency repairs.
  • Manage and ensure appropriate controls within the Permit to Work system for all tasks.
  • Maintain critical cooling water systems and domestic systems in compliance with L8 standards, updating logbooks accordingly.
  • Ensure a sufficient inventory of spares is available to carry out maintenance on both critical and non-critical plant.
  • Meticulously maintain comprehensive maintenance records through task sheets, utilizing both hard copy and electronic formats as required. A high level of computer proficiency is essential, particularly in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, along with the ability to use Adobe/Nitro.
  • Adhere to Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks to ensure safe working practices. Actively contribute to developing and refining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs).
  • Supervise engineering subcontractors, ensuring they comply with contractual commitments, Permit to Work procedures, and site operating processes.
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with all Integral and client staff members.
  • Uphold a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to all company policies and procedures, as well as client site policies, procedures, and working arrangements.
  • Present a professional image of Integral UK to clients and stakeholders.
