Skanska's Building Services Division is seeking a dedicated Electrical Shift Engineer to join our Commercial Property Maintenance team in East Central London.

We provide comprehensive Facilities Management services across the UK, encompassing mechanical and electrical engineering support, cleaning, catering, and grounds maintenance. Our commitment to technological solutions ensures efficient management of our teams.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate proficiency in electrical applications commonly encountered within the contract scope.
  • Respond promptly to reactive calls and ensure their successful completion.
  • Execute Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks within stipulated timeframes.
  • Obtain Appointed Person certification if required by the site.
  • Provide comprehensive support to clients with ad-hoc tasks.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of all plant and systems in operation.
  • Work flexible shifts, covering both day (7am - 7pm) and night (7pm - 7am) rotations.
Your Qualifications:
  • Minimum City & Guilds Level 2 or NVQ Level 3 qualification in a relevant electrical field.
  • Proven experience in an engineering role within the service industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Knowledge of control systems and HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems.
  • Familiarity with IEE 17th Edition regulations.
  • Minimum IOSH Working Safely certification.
