Electrical Data Centre Shift Technician – Continental
· We are seeking a proactive Critical Electrically biased Shift Technician to join our team at Veterans Lighting. Inc. dba Veterans Electrical Solutions.
· The successful candidate will be based at a large Data Centre in Hertfordshire, working directly with our Data Hosting Company.
· The complex boasts a friendly atmosphere and above-average staff retention levels.
· As a member of our specialist Critical team, you will be based at a state-of-the-art technical Data Centre, offering an excellent modern and clean environment to work within.
· This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced industry, with easy travel access out of the heart of London.
· The role offers a market-leading salary of £56k incl. Bonus, plus opportunities to boost this further with overtime.
· Electrically qualified engineers can come from a Critical background or other Engineering maintenance environments, such as Pharmaceutical, Power stations, Banking, Industrial or Maritime engineering.
· Candidates should ideally have completed an apprenticeship or have equivalent time-served experience within M&E maintenance environments.
· You will have hands-on experience of covering the planned and reactive maintenance of Single & three-phase power, UPS, Power Generators, lighting, HVAC plant, air conditioning, etc.
· Candidates will need to have full electrical City & Guilds, or equivalent.
