Job Summary

Imperial College London is seeking an exceptional Proposal Development Manager to support the Imperial Futures initiatives.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Imperial Futures Proposal Development to convene and support multidisciplinary expertise for the creation of high-quality external funding applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of large-scale, strategic funding proposals, managing complex bids across multiple disciplines and partners.
  • Provide expert advice to academic staff during proposal development, submission, and review stages, ensuring alignment with funder priorities.
  • Identify and disseminate funding opportunities across Imperial's academic community.
  • Support the creation of new interdisciplinary research alliances by organizing academic workshops and fostering collaboration.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including academic staff, researchers, and external partners.
  • Contribute to the development of Imperial's research strategy and priorities.

Requirements

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle complex bids involving multiple stakeholders.
  • A passion for fostering collaboration and innovation within a top-tier academic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in proposal development, research management, or a related field.
