Legal & General Asset Management - Technology Risk & Controls Manager

We are pleased to announce an exceptional opportunity for a Technology Risk & Controls Manager to take on a pivotal role within our organization.

In this position, you will be tasked with the development and execution of our risk management framework, ensuring a thorough comprehension of our technology risk landscape. Additionally, you will facilitate assurance activities in collaboration with both external and internal audit teams, as well as operational risk and controls assurance functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to IT controls through comprehensive testing and/or design assurance evaluations
  • Improve the self-attestation process for controls by engaging with control owners
  • Identify, evaluate, and communicate technology risks and challenges impacting the organization
  • Establish and generate Key Risk Indicators (KRI) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to facilitate risk oversight
  • Lead external control assurance evaluations, including AAF, SOC, CASS, and Statutory External Audit
  • Oversee access provisioning and modification requests from the Identity & Access Management Operations team
  • Conduct risk assessments via the Risk & Controls Self-Assessment (RCSA) methodology
  • Assist with internal audits, operational risk reviews, and compliance evaluations

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in delivering, managing, and assuring Information Security initiatives
  • Strong understanding of IT controls and associated risks
  • Capability to manage intricate stakeholder relationships
  • Preferred certifications in Information Security and/or Information Technology (CISA, CISSP, CISM or equivalent)
  • A background in consulting is advantageous
