About FT FLIC

FT Financial Literacy and Inclusion Campaign (FLIC) is dedicated to tackling financial illiteracy through educational programs designed for both young people and adult learners. We collaborate with schools, community organizations, and policymakers to create a lasting impact on society.

About the Role

We are seeking a visionary leader with extensive experience in social-purpose organizations to guide FT FLIC towards continued success. As Acting Executive Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our strategic direction and ensuring the delivery of impactful financial literacy initiatives.

  • Strategic Leadership: Oversee the development and implementation of strategic plans, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and goals. Communicate key milestones and progress to stakeholders effectively.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including community members, partners, donors, and policymakers. Prioritize feedback from beneficiaries to continuously improve our programs and services.
  • Fundraising & Financial Management: Collaborate closely with the fundraising team to develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies. Ensure financial stability through sound financial management practices.
  • Team Development & Program Growth: Supervise the Partnerships Manager and provide support for program growth initiatives. Champion diversity and inclusion within the organization, fostering a welcoming and inclusive work environment.
  • Governance & Compliance: Engage with the Board of Trustees, providing regular updates on organizational performance and progress. Oversee risk management and compliance activities to ensure adherence to best practices.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience leading social-purpose organizations with a demonstrated commitment to financial literacy initiatives.
  • Expertise in fundraising, donor stewardship, and grant writing.
  • A deep understanding of the challenges associated with financial illiteracy and the strategies for addressing them.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Financial and HR management acumen.
