Wealth & Asset Management Tax Expert - Associate Director

Grant Thornton's Financial Services Tax Team provides comprehensive tax advisory, transaction, and compliance services to clients across the Financial Services sector, including Wealth and Asset Management, Banking and Capital Markets, and Insurance.
Our rapidly expanding Wealth and Asset Management team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Director with a strong UK corporation tax and funds background. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our growing practice in London.
About the RoleWe serve a diverse portfolio of clients within the Wealth and Asset Management sector, encompassing traditional asset managers, financial institutions, alternative fund asset managers across various asset classes (private equity, private credit, venture capital, hedge funds, real estate, and infrastructure), wealth managers, UK pension funds, and global institutional investors. Our team combines technical expertise with a client-centric approach to build strong, trusted advisor relationships.
The dynamic nature of the Wealth and Asset Management industry presents opportunities to work on domestic and international structuring, transactions, UK tax compliance, and advisory matters. You'll collaborate with colleagues across various service lines and leverage our global network.
Responsibilities- Provide expert tax advice to clients in the Wealth and Asset Management sector
- Lead and manage complex tax engagements, including due diligence, structuring, and compliance
- Develop strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Contribute to the growth of our Wealth and Asset Management practice
- Stay abreast of current tax legislation and industry trends

- Significant experience providing tax advice to clients in the Wealth and Asset Management sector
