As a key member of our Financial Services Tax practice, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, from traditional asset managers to alternative funds and wealth managers.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Tax Associate Director with a strong UK corporation tax and funds background to join our team in London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a significant portfolio of asset management clients, delivering tax compliance and advisory work, and developing junior team members through on-the-job training and coaching.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of asset management clients, delivering tax compliance and advisory work
  • Develop junior team members through on-the-job training and coaching
  • Work with the partner/director to build out the practice and develop strong client relationships
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a professional qualification (CTA / ACA / ACCA or equivalent) and experience of managing a portfolio of clients. It would be great if you also had knowledge of offshore funds legislation and reporting fund regulations, taxation of UK OEICs, Investment trusts, VCTs, treaty eligibility and withholding tax reclaims, cross-border investments and investors, and asset managers (both corporates and LLPs).
