Operational Tax Manager

Asset is seeking an experienced Operational Tax Manager to join its product tax team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing operational tax matters, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and identifying opportunities for tax reclaims.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage operational tax matters, including withholding taxes, capital gains taxes, and transfer taxes
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and international fund compliance obligations
- Identify opportunities for tax reclaims and pursue them
- Provide tax advice and risk considerations to the business
- Oversee tax services provided by custodians, professional services firms, and local tax agents
- Manager-level experience in a professional services firm or asset servicer
- Practical experience of global withholding tax, capital gains tax, and transfer taxes
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
