About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fundraising and Marketing Manager to join our team at Freedom from Torture. As a key member of our individual giving programme, you will be responsible for delivering income growth and leading on fundraising campaign delivery, including acquisition and retention activities.

You will oversee a team of two, managing day-to-day operations and developing creative campaigns in collaboration with the fundraising and communications team. Your team will work closely with survivors to tell their stories and promote our work.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing fundraising strategies to drive income growth
  • Leading on fundraising campaign delivery, including acquisition and retention activities
  • Managing a team of two, providing guidance and support to ensure successful campaign delivery
  • Collaborating with the fundraising and communications team to develop creative campaigns
  • Working closely with survivors to tell their stories and promote our work

We are looking for a candidate with excellent communication and people skills, experience of managing a busy workload and team, and a strong understanding of fundraising and marketing principles. You will be able to use your knowledge to edit copy and feedback on campaigns, and link creative decisions with data and analysis.

We offer a competitive package, including a generous 30-day annual leave entitlement and 6% employer pension contribution. We are committed to showing the salary for all advertised roles and not negotiating salaries, in light of evidence that this contributes to structural inequality.
