Role Overview

The Supplier Management team is dedicated to fostering robust collaborative relationships with our suppliers, ensuring that we deliver value and optimize our budget effectively. As a Supplier Manager, your primary focus will be on adhering to the Supplier Management Framework and Partner Charter, which guarantees consistent engagement and governance. A key aspect of this role is to identify opportunities for ongoing enhancement and prevent value erosion. Your contributions will significantly impact our business objectives by ensuring that these opportunities are realized and benefits are achieved.

Work Model

This position operates on a hybrid model with a 4.5-day work week. Team members are expected to work from our vibrant head office for a minimum of 2 days each week, with the flexibility to work remotely for the remainder of the week. Applicants should reside within a reasonable commuting distance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities within the supplier landscape to enhance service delivery.
  • Collaborate with various business functions to ensure alignment between supplier contracts and business objectives.
  • Assist business units with cost optimization initiatives and mitigate cost-related risks.
  • Support business stakeholders during contract renewals and negotiations.
  • Ensure that rebates are received and avoid any penalties.
  • Maximize the value derived from partnerships with suppliers.
  • Implement cost reduction initiatives.
  • Act as the primary contact for both the business and suppliers.
  • Establish cohesive working practices to drive success.
  • Organize events to foster collaboration and innovation.
  • Enhance colleagues' understanding of commercial awareness and supplier management.
