Occupational Therapist Lead

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Specialist Occupational Therapist. This is a part-time position for 18.75 hours per week, offering a unique opportunity to lead in the advanced assessment and treatment of residents with diverse and complex physical and neurological conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Accept clinical responsibility for a designated caseload of residents, organizing efficiently and effectively with regard to clinical priorities and use of time.
- Formulate and deliver individual Occupational Therapy management and treatment programmes based on specialist knowledge of clinically reasoned and evidence-based practice and treatment options.
- Take responsibility for clinical OT supervision, education, and performance of more junior members of therapy staff, students, and therapy assistants.
- Occupational Therapy profession qualification.
- Extensive and relevant post-qualification clinical experience with children and young people who have complex needs.
- Extensive experience of applying occupational frames of reference and approaches.
- Demonstrates evidence of highly effective clinical reasoning skills.
- Highly specialist knowledge of relevant assessment and treatment models.
- Annual salary of £40,500 pro rata.
