At Marsh McLennan, we are seeking a Vice President level professional to join our esteemed Rating Advisory Team. This team comprises seasoned experts dedicated to enhancing our clients' relationships with rating agencies. Our specialists collaborate closely with clients to deliver top-tier solutions that align with their strategic objectives and rating aspirations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive sector and financial analyses to support our clients' needs.
  • Assist senior team members in demonstrating the financial implications of various reinsurance frameworks, capital management strategies, and growth initiatives.

Your Contributions Will Include:

  • Analyzing financial documents, assessing industry risks, and evaluating strategic business decisions.
  • Developing pro forma and forecast analyses to guide clients on the financial and rating agency implications of their choices regarding reinsurance, capital management, and expansion.
  • Creating tools to enhance the analysis and sharing of financial information.
  • Contributing to the firm’s knowledge base through proactive communication about evolving risk and insurance market trends.
  • Building and nurturing client and market relationships to ensure effective client management.
  • Addressing moderately complex challenges by applying innovative perspectives to existing solutions.
  • Supporting client retention through effective risk management solutions and exceptional service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree with 5-7 years of relevant experience in the (re)insurance sector.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Knowledge of insurance credit and/or accounting principles.
  • Possession of an MBA and/or CFA designation.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as R, Python, and tools like Power BI.
