Key Responsibilities- Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including balance sheets and profit & loss accounts, to provide insights into our financial performance.
- Variance Analysis: Conduct thorough variance analysis to identify areas of improvement and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in creating budgets and forecasts to drive business strategy and ensure financial sustainability.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate complex financial information to stakeholders, including senior management and external partners.
- Reconciliations: Conduct thorough bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Day-to-Day Accounting: Manage posting journals, raise invoices, and perform general bookkeeping tasks to maintain financial records.
- VAT Returns: Handle VAT returns and liaise with HMRC as necessary to ensure compliance.
- Process Optimisation: Develop systems to enhance efficiencies and optimize processes, reducing costs and improving productivity.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in Finance Management, with a strong background in financial planning and analysis.
- Qualifications: Qualified or finalist in CIMA, ACCA, or ACA, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
- IT Skills: Proficiency in Excel is essential, with experience with Netsuite desirable.
- Communication: Strong communicator capable of articulating complex financial information clearly and effectively.
- Organisation: Highly organized and able to work independently, with a strong attention to detail.
- Teamwork: Collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic environment, with a strong ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
