Role Overview:

The Menu Partners is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic HR Advisor to join our collaborative team of professionals. As a standalone HR Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive HR support and guidance to our employees and managers. Reporting into the Group HR Business Partner, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in a very important role, with ample opportunities for growth and development within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Support: Provide day-to-day HR support and advice to managers and employees on a wide range of HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, recruitment, and policy interpretation.
  • Employee Relations: Manage employee relations issues effectively, conducting investigations, grievance and disciplinary proceedings in line with company policies and best practice principles.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Support the recruitment process from end to end, including job posting, candidate screening, interview coordination, and onboarding activities to ensure a positive candidate experience and smooth transition into the organisation.
  • Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives to promote a positive work environment and ensure compliance with legal requirements and industry standards.
  • HR Administration: Maintain accurate HR records and systems, including employee databases, personnel files, and HR documentation, ensuring confidentiality and data protection compliance at all times.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and support the delivery of training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies, contributing to the professional development and engagement of our workforce.
  • HR Projects: Collaborate on HR projects and initiatives as required, contributing to the continuous improvement of HR processes and practices to support the strategic objectives of the organisation.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in a HR advisory role, ideally within the food service, hospitality, or related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation, with the ability to apply sound judgment and discretion in HR decision-making.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent HR-related qualification is desirable.
