An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Lead Cost Consultant to join a dynamic and expanding division of a prominent main contractor.

This organization is well-regarded for executing high-caliber projects within the energy sector and is currently collaborating with several major clients.

They are eager to recruit a motivated and commercially savvy Lead Cost Consultant to assist in managing an increasing workload.


As a Lead Cost Consultant, you will be instrumental in overseeing the financial elements of various projects across the region.

Your responsibilities will include ensuring cost-effectiveness, managing financial plans, and safeguarding the fiscal integrity of projects from initiation to completion.


Cost Oversight:
Supervise and manage all financial aspects of projects, including the preparation of cost assessments, financial plans, and quantity bills.

Financial Analysis:
Deliver precise and timely financial documentation, including cost predictions, valuations, and final accounts.

Contract Management:
Effectively administer contracts, ensuring adherence to terms and conditions while managing any modifications or changes.

Risk Assessment:
Identify and alleviate potential financial risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Supplier and Subcontractor Relations:
Negotiate and manage agreements with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring value and quality of service.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and ensuring satisfaction with project execution.

Team Development:
Mentor and guide junior cost consultants, promoting a collaborative and high-performance work culture.

Qualifications:
A minimum of 7 years of experience in cost consultancy, particularly within the energy and infrastructure sectors.
A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

Essential Skills:

Strong analytical and numerical capabilities, exceptional attention to detail, and proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., MS Excel, cost management applications).


Travel Requirements:
Willingness to travel to various project locations as necessary.
