The Neurorehabilitation Department at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is looking to enhance its team by welcoming a dedicated and skilled Team Lead Speech and Language Therapist. This role is essential in providing high-quality, patient-focused care to individuals recovering from neurological conditions.
Key Responsibilities
The position entails leading a team of therapists, overseeing clinical practices, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional therapeutic services. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Supervising and mentoring junior staff and students, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
- Conducting assessments and evaluations to monitor patient progress and adapt therapies accordingly.
- Engaging with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participating in departmental meetings and contributing to service development initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must possess a recognized qualification in Speech and Language Therapy and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). A proven track record in neurorehabilitation and experience in a leadership role will be advantageous.
