Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sales Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth analysis and research into sales results, sales effectiveness, and customer analytics to inform our go-forward sales strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct analysis and research into sales results, sales effectiveness, and customer analytics to inform our sales strategy
  • Work closely with the Senior Sales Strategist to develop and implement sales plans, including identifying opportunities to improve data quality and process efficiency
  • Prepare and facilitate sales planning sessions, providing detailed insights into client and product financials across our global footprint
  • Improve management visibility of key financial metrics, including team flows and sales performance
  • Promote best practice use of Salesforce and identify mechanisms to mandate its use within the sales teams
  • Define business requirements for changes, enhancements, or new Tableau views, ensuring data quality and supporting efforts to enhance our data analytics capabilities
  • Build effective relationships with sales team members to facilitate successful work efforts
  • Participate in cross-functional projects as necessary, providing sales-related business requirements and guidance
  • Produce ad-hoc sales and business development presentations as required
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience working in a strategy or sales role within an asset management organization
  • Technical knowledge of financial instruments and markets
  • In-depth knowledge of investment fund and financial regulations
  • Ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative financial data and provide insightful positioning
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to provide insight into sales results, sales effectiveness, and go-forward sales strategy
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce and Tableau
