Position: Accounts Administration Coordinator

Salary Range: £24,000 - £28,000 per annum, based on experience

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Typical hours are 8:00am - 4:00pm or 8:30am - 4:30pm)

Due to internal advancement, we are thrilled to present an opportunity for an Accounts Administration Coordinator to join our supportive Finance Department at our Harwell Head Office. This role comes at a pivotal time as our finance team undergoes a transformation, and you will receive comprehensive support to foster your growth in the finance field.

Key Responsibilities:

Your primary duty will be to deliver transactional accounting, administrative, and clerical assistance to the Finance Department. This includes:

  • Processing financial documents and transactions
  • Maintaining precise financial records
  • Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Addressing inquiries from various stakeholders
  • Contributing to the timely preparation of monthly management accounts and year-end statutory financial statements and audits

Essential Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., Xero, Access Financials, Bamboo & Hubspot)
  • Strong numerical and analytical capabilities
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Capacity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in an accounting or finance role
  • Level 3 AAT or higher studier
