The Position
We are seeking a dedicated administrator to join a dynamic team within the operations department. This role involves supporting daily administrative tasks and coordinating activities across various departments, including diary management and meeting facilitation for the Chief Operating Officer and senior operational leadership team.

You will be dependable, appreciate the significance of meticulousness, and be eager to provide exceptional service while taking ownership of your responsibilities. A curious mindset and the courage to seek clarification will be essential for fully grasping the tasks at hand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage diaries and coordinate appointments/meetings for the COO and senior operational leadership team, both internally and externally.
- Record and distribute meeting minutes, action summaries, and reports for committee and departmental meetings.
- Organize arrangements for site visitors, including room bookings and catering requests.
- Provide administrative support for recruitment processes.
- Plan and coordinate team events and meetings for the operations team.
- Facilitate team inductions for new hires and visitors.
- Arrange visas and book travel for both domestic and international trips.
- Submit and/or approve expense claims for science and operations teams.
- Maintain the on-site rota, ensuring it reflects staff changes.
- Support onsite events and meetings by ensuring meeting rooms are prepared and visitors are checked in with reception.
- Provide ad-hoc administrative assistance as needed.
- Demonstrate a willingness to take on additional duties as required.
