Position Overview

Frazer Jones is pleased to collaborate exclusively with a prominent Investment Firm to enhance their Human Resources Team in London. Reporting directly to the Head of HR, the Senior Vice President of People Operations will lead the development of their Reward and Compensation strategy and play a crucial role in supporting a workforce of approximately 250 employees.

This newly created position offers the opportunity to take charge of designing and executing competitive reward frameworks while fostering talent development, employee engagement, learning initiatives, and employee relations.

An ideal candidate would be someone looking to transition from a compensation-centric role into a broader HR generalist position, with demonstrated experience in small to medium-sized Financial Services organizations being essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute competitive compensation and benefits strategies that align with the organization's strategic objectives and industry standards.
  • Perform regular salary benchmarking and market assessments to ensure our compensation frameworks are both competitive and fair.
  • Design and oversee incentive programs, bonuses, and other performance-related rewards.
  • Manage the annual salary review process, ensuring equity and adherence to corporate guidelines.
  • Provide expertise on job evaluations, grading, and salary structures.
  • Collaborate with the Head of HR to devise and implement HR strategies that align with the organization's business goals.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior management, offering insights and recommendations on HR-related issues.
  • Lead and manage HR projects and initiatives, ensuring timely and effective execution.
  • Support talent management and succession planning efforts to cultivate a strong pipeline of future leaders.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Offer expert guidance and support to managers and employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
  • Encourage employee development through training programs, mentorship, and career advancement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • 5-8 years of experience in HR with a proven history of leading compensation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing effective compensation strategies.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization.
