About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and resilient Night Support Worker to join our team at Look Ahead. As a Night Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing support to customers in a residential setting, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build supportive relationships with customers and create a positive atmosphere
  • Work proactively with other team members to handle the service caseload and administrative responsibilities
  • Conduct key work sessions to achieve Support Plan goals
  • Ensure ongoing assessment and management of risks associated with customers
  • Provide support with daily living activities, including practical assistance
  • Support customers to maintain a healthy environment and assist with cleaning and personal hygiene
  • Assist in the recording and reporting of customer incidents
  • Manage customer referrals and complete assessments
  • Develop productive relationships with partner organisations
  • Adhere to Look Ahead's policies and procedures
About You

We are looking for someone who is fundamentally calm and resilient, with a practical and logical mind. You should be able to apply the right balance of care and support dependent on the needs of the customer. You will thrive on change and enjoy dynamic, diverse environments.

What You'll Bring

You will need to have an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, with some previous relevant sector work experience. You should be able to demonstrate a can-do attitude and be motivated towards excellence and improvement of personal performance.
