Position Overview

An exceptional opportunity has emerged within Swansea Bay University Health Board for an Outpatient Administrative Coordinator.

The ideal candidate will undertake confidential administrative and reception responsibilities across various Outpatient Reception areas. Key tasks will include utilizing the Welsh Patient Admin System (WPAS) for managing patient arrivals and departures, as well as documenting essential clinic outcomes in alignment with National RTT guidelines.

A keen attention to detail is crucial for this position, along with strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, and clinical teams. The role involves manual handling related to the organization of patient case notes, with trolleys provided for assistance.

Core Responsibilities

We seek a dependable and enthusiastic individual who is well-organized, possesses outstanding communication abilities, has a friendly demeanor, and thrives in a high-pressure environment while being a valuable member of a busy team. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is expected.

Flexibility in workdays is required to support service delivery and maintain adequate staffing levels. As a team member, the successful candidate will be expected to work varied days and hours throughout the week, from Monday to Friday.

Previous experience in a fast-paced reception or customer service role, coupled with a commitment to delivering exceptional service, is essential.
