Position: Logistics Operations Leader (Ecommerce / D2C)

Compensation: £60,000 + Bonus

Location: London (Office-Based, 5 Days per Week)

Pod Talent Ltd is excited to collaborate with a rapidly expanding retail organization in search of a proactive and strategic Logistics Operations Leader to become a vital part of their team on a permanent basis.

This role presents a distinctive opportunity to spearhead and innovate within a progressive company, enhancing and refining their supply chain processes with advanced Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) logistics methodologies.

Key Responsibilities as Logistics Operations Leader:

  • Strategic Direction: Develop and execute a cutting-edge D2C logistics framework, emphasizing operational excellence.
  • 3PL Management: Oversee third-party logistics operations, ensuring effective order fulfillment, stringent quality assurance, and adherence to all regulatory standards.
  • Courier Relations: Cultivate and sustain partnerships with courier services, track performance metrics, and continuously enhance shipping and return workflows.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and guide a dedicated logistics customer service team to deliver a seamless and outstanding customer experience.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work alongside internal teams to manage international import/export compliance and contribute to sustainability efforts.

Essential Qualifications for the Logistics Operations Leader Role:

  • Logistics Proficiency: A minimum of 5 years of logistics experience, particularly in D2C/ecommerce sectors. Strong command of relevant software, including MS Office, Retail Operating Systems, and CRM platforms. Familiarity with Brightpearl, SAP, or Hubspot is advantageous.
  • 3PL and Courier Expertise: Demonstrated success in managing third-party logistics operations, courier partnerships, and providing exceptional customer service.
