Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the timely and accurate submission of COREP/FINREP reports to regulatory bodies, including the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
  • Manage reports covering critical areas such as credit risk, asset encumbrance, leverage ratios, large exposures, liquidity coverage ratios (LCR), net stable funding ratios (NSFR), and additional liquidity monitoring metrics (ALMM).
  • Enhance and develop reconciliation processes and approval protocols for significant regulatory submissions.
  • Drive improvements in reporting efficiencies and processes.
  • Collaborate with the Risk team on ICAAP and AIRB reporting initiatives.
  • Integrate new regulatory returns into the existing data framework.
  • Assist in the automation of current reports using third-party software solutions.
  • Work closely with finance team members, including financial control, treasury, risk, and internal audit, to ensure data integrity and consistency.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of the risks inherent in regulatory reporting and their implications for the organization and stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in a business-as-usual regulatory reporting role, with comprehensive knowledge of the full suite of regulatory returns.
  • Familiarity with asset encumbrance, leverage ratios, large exposures, and liquidity metrics (LCR, NSFR, ALMM).
  • Experience in team management and supporting the professional growth of colleagues.
  • Excellent analytical skills for data reconciliation and report generation.
  • High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in reports submitted to regulatory supervisors.
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent).
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
