Location: Remote or Hybrid from Succession Wealth's UK Offices

Contract Duration: 6 Months with Potential for Extension

Day Rate: £450 - £500 (DOE)

Succession Wealth is a leading Financial Advisory firm in the UK, providing high-quality financial advice to a diverse range of clients. As part of our business-wide initiative to enhance our systems and integration, we are seeking a skilled Data and Systems Architect to support our CTO in making informed architectural decisions and working closely with our IT and Operational Management teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implement Enterprise-Wide Data Architecture: Develop a comprehensive data architecture that aligns with our business objectives and needs.
  • Develop and Maintain Data Models: Ensure data integrity, security, and optimal performance through the development and maintenance of data models.
  • Design and Integrate Data Pipelines: Create efficient data movement and transformation pipelines to support our business operations.
  • Select and Implement Data Management Solutions: Choose and configure data warehouses, data lakes, and other data management solutions to meet our business requirements.
  • Design and Implement IT Systems Architecture: Develop a robust IT systems architecture, including hardware, software, networks, and security, to support our business operations.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Develop Data Governance Strategies: Establish data governance strategies to ensure data quality, compliance, and security.
  • Document Technical Designs: Document technical designs, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and consistency.

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience in Data Architecture: Demonstrate expertise in data architecture, systems design, and data modeling.
  • Experience with Data Warehousing and Governance: Show experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and data governance methodologies.
  • Strong Understanding of Data Security: Possess a strong understanding of data security principles and best practices.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and other data querying languages, as well as experience with IT infrastructure components (hardware, software, networks).
  • Financial Services Experience: Ideally, experience gained within the Financial Services industry, specifically in wealth management.
  • Excellent Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to tackle complex technical challenges.
