Llandrindod Wells Medical Practice is a thriving healthcare organization in Mid Wales, committed to delivering high-quality patient care. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Salaried GP to join our team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Rural General Practitioner to work in a supportive and friendly environment, serving a close-knit community of 10,700 patients. As a Salaried GP, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care, working closely with our experienced nursing team and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality patient care, conducting consultations and examinations as needed
  • Work collaboratively with the nursing team to manage long-term conditions and urgent care
  • Participate in the practice's training program for medical and physician associate students
  • Contribute to the development of the practice team, sharing knowledge and expertise

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary, 6 weeks pro rata annual leave, and a modern single-site surgery with state-of-the-art facilities. Our practice operates a total triage system, with a mix of telephone and face-to-face appointments to share the workload. We also have an experienced nursing team, a paramedic urgent care practitioner, and a district nursing team supporting with a virtual ward and catered practice MDT lunch weekly.
