About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cost Manager to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As a Senior Cost Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality cost management services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage commissions of varying sizes, including feasibility studies, procurement options, estimating, and cost planning.
  • Coach junior staff and allocate roles and responsibilities to ensure effective cost management on all projects.
  • Advising clients on their procurement options and managing the estimating and cost planning stages.
  • Presenting the final cost plan to the client and conducting the role of contract administrator.
  • Dealing effectively with post-contract cost variances and change control processes.
  • Producing monthly post-contract cost reports and negotiating and agreeing final accounts.
  • Interfacing with clients, project managers, and other consultants at all project stages.
  • Leading a cost management team and ensuring they deliver on all accountabilities.
Requirements
  • Chartered Status and a degree in a relevant field.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Inquisitive and problem-solving skill base.
  • Demonstrable cost management experience working at a consultancy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
