We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapy Technical Instructor to join our Female Rehabilitation Team at Beckett Place.
As a Technical Instructor, you will work closely with Occupational Therapists to meet patient-oriented goals and support progression through a recovery pathway.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver group and individual clinical interventions that engage clients in therapeutic activity.
- Work with service/clinical/professional guidelines to promote and apply Occupational Therapy principles.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
- Recent experience of working in healthcare or a related area.
- Experience of working with severe mental illness (SMI).
- Good understanding of serious mental illness and rehabilitation interventions.
- Ability to use a variety of methods to teach occupational skills to clients.
