This post is fixed term for two years to provide additional resource in to the financial accounts team and transactions hub to provide cover for the current postholder who is retaining other areas in addition to also leading on the financial ledger improvements and potential replacement of the ledgers.
We are looking for a strong finance professional who can take on a crucial role of developing our financial accounting team and transactions hub at the same time as supporting the development of the wider finance function by being an expert on technical accounting standards/regulatory financial requirements.
- Provide high level leadership, technical, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Deliver a comprehensive accounting service supporting teh financial accounts team and transactions hub that meets all of our statutory, regulatory and operational needs
- Be responsible for the provision of advice and information, interpretation of policy, implementation of changes and the management of all aspects of the Trust’s financial accounts function i.e. production of statutory accounts and returns, technical accounting, payment of suppliers, collection of income, cash management, charitable funds, provisions and staff development.
- Be responsible for the line management and performance of the financial accounts team and transactions hub, ensuring the delivery of a professional, dynamic and proactive service.
- Deputise for the Assistant Director of Finance - Assurance, Systems and Procurement and will also represent the Director of Finance on behalf of the organisation when required.
