Responsibilities:

As a Finance Officer, your primary responsibilities will include:

Providing financial management, technical, and business planning advice, training, and support to various stakeholders
Assisting managers in client service areas to fulfil their financial management responsibilities
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients
Ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial, performance, and business data
Participating in budget coordination and monitoring activities
Supporting service transformation, improvement, and efficiency projects
Contributing to the evaluation of funding stream opportunities and innovative marketing initiativesEssential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following:

5 GCSEs (Grade A-C or 9-4) including Mathematics and English Language or equivalent
Previous experience in a financial environment, preferably within an Accountancy/Finance Office
Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Applications
Demonstrated ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage a multi-priority workload
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Self-motivated with a keen attention to detailDesirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

It would be advantageous if you have:

Experience in budget preparation, closure of accounts, or financial management
Familiarity with Financial Ledger packagesTechnologies:

Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
