Position Overview

The Membership Sales Consultant plays a crucial role in driving membership growth and retention. This position is focused on meeting or surpassing individual sales targets, renewals, and additional service objectives through proactive outreach, in-club engagement, and fostering member referrals. Under the guidance of a General Manager and supported by a Regional Manager and a dedicated sales team, the Consultant must be well-versed in all club offerings, services, and programs. Staying informed about industry trends and competitor activities is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell club memberships effectively
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Organize events and workshops to generate leads within the club
  • Meet or exceed individual sales targets, renewals, and service goals
  • Engage in monthly planning activities, including strategic outreach for member referrals
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with both prospective and existing members
  • Collaborate with the General Manager, Regional Sales Manager, and sales team to promote all club services and products

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in sales is preferred

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary complemented by commission opportunities for:
    • New membership sales (no cap)
    • Renewal membership sales
    • Ancillary sales (Spa, Personal Training, Pilates)
    • Team sales achievements (club and market opportunities)
  • Competitive salary and benefits package with industry-leading commission potential

Pay Range: £26,000-40,000 annual fixed compensation, with potential total compensation of £61,500-77,000 based on sales performance.
