We are seeking a highly skilled Tenant Participation and Engagement Manager to join our team at EVH. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in securing and managing new consultancy projects, delivering independent tenant advice contracts, and training courses for tenants, housing organization staff, and other stakeholders across Scotland.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Respond to and complete tender proposals for Independent Tenant Advice contracts, consultancy projects, and training courses across Scotland.
- Training and Development: Design and deliver training courses and workshops for tenant, resident, and community groups, scrutiny panels, federations, housing organization staff, and other stakeholders.
- Business Development: Secure and manage new consultancy projects, working with key partners to influence and shape national housing policy.
- Policy and Research: Produce guides, briefing papers, and reports focused on housing policy and legislation, championing meaningful tenant participation and engagement practices.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Support tenants to respond to national consultations, influence policy development, and provide information on tenant groups.
- Team Management: Manage TIS Development Support projects, including line management support and supervision to project staff, and the development, implementation, and review of workplans.
To be considered for this role, you will have knowledge of social housing sector policy, legislation, and/or regulatory framework. You will also have excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
