Tenant Participation and Engagement Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our core team as a Tenant Participation and Engagement Manager. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in championing and promoting TIS as experts in housing, community development, and engagement practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to secure and manage new consultancy projects and independent tenant advice contracts.
  • Design and deliver training courses and workshops for tenant, resident, and community groups, as well as housing organisation staff, Elected members, and Board members.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, including the Scottish Government, Scottish Housing Regulator, Scottish Federation of Housing Associations, and Chartered Institute of Housing.
  • Produce high-quality guides, briefing papers, and reports focused on housing policy and legislation.
  • Champion and promote meaningful tenant participation, engagement, and scrutiny practices throughout Scotland.
  • Support tenants to respond to national consultations and influence policy development.
  • Provide information and guidance to tenants and housing organisations on tenant group functioning and best practices.
  • Manage TIS Development Support projects, including line management support and supervision to project staff.
