Job Title: Salaried General Practitioner

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salaried General Practitioner to join our team at Somerset Gardens Family Health Care Centre. As a key member of our primary care team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload and providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of patients and provide comprehensive primary care services, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
  • Conduct thorough medical histories, perform physical examinations, and order diagnostic tests as necessary to diagnose and treat patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and lifestyle modifications, to promote optimal patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, guidelines, and best practices to provide evidence-based care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including specialists and community health workers, to provide comprehensive care and address complex patient needs.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.

Requirements:

  • Medical degree and current licensure to practice medicine in the UK.
  • Completion of a General Practice training program or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong clinical skills, with the ability to diagnose and manage a wide range of medical conditions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records and other healthcare technologies.
